When he leaves the prophet's house the man of God is killed by a lion I Kings 13:23-32
Still disobedient, Jeroboam sends his wife to Abijah, because his son is sick I Kings 14:1-20
He is attacked by Abijah next king of Judah, and is defeated II Chronicles 13:1-20
